Telemetry GR/CCLThe Telemetry GR/CCL tool provides digitised counts of pulses from sensors connected below. This tool has in-built Gamma Ray sensor and Casing Collar Locator (CCL) to provides a stand-alone real time GR-CCL log with no tools connected below. The tool is also combinable with other Production Logging Tools to provide a suite of PL data if so requested by clients. GR/CCL Specifications:
Fluid Density
The Geoplex-Wireline Fluid Density tool provides quantitative measurements of the wellbore fluid density, both under static and dynamic conditions. The Fluid Density tool uses the principle of particle measurements. As a result, it's measurements are not affected by well deviation. This tool is combined with Telemetry GR/CCL tool to provide wellbore fluid measurements correlated with depth, Tubing or Casing collars and formation natural GR. The FLUID DENSITY Tool specifications:
Pressure/Temperature/Flow
The Geoplex-Wireline Pressure/Temperature/Flow tool provides quantitative measurements of the wellbore fluid pressure, wellbore temperature and fluid flowrates, under static and dynamic conditions. The tool is combined with Telemetry GR/CCL tool to provide wellbore fluid measurements correlated with depth, Tubing or Casing collars and formation natural GR. The tool can be further combined with the Geoplex-Wireline Fluid Density tool to provide a tandem measurement of wellbore fluid density. The Pressure/Temperature/Flow Tool specifications:
The Pressure/Temperature/Flow tool uses a quartz transducer with an in-built temperature compensation sensor, isolated from the wellbore to provide for temperature correction on the pressure measurement. This ensures high accuracy and resolution, with little or no drift due to temperature changes. This tool is built with an in-line spinner to maintain a maximum outer diameter of 1 11/16”. This allows the tool to serve as a secondary flow measurement tool when run with a Fullbore Spinner or it can also serve as the primary flowmeter where the flowrate in the tubing is required or in slim holes less than 5.0” casing size. Fullbore Spinner The Geoplex Wireline Fullbore Spinner is used to provide accurate downhole flow rates for both oil and gas. It has a collapsible impeller designed to be closed while in the tubing and open while in the casing and does gives a fluid velocity measurement covering a much larger cross-sectional area of the casing. The high accuracy and sensitivity of the Fullbore flowmeter results in a true flow measurement. This tool is combinable with the Telemetry GR/CCL tool, Gradiomanometer tool and the Pressure/Temperature/Flow tool to provide tandem wellbore fluid data along with a formation GR measurement, correlated to depth. Fullbore Spinner Specifications:
The Geoplex-Wireline Fullbore Spinner comes in a number of cage/spinner size combinations to provide measurements in a range of casing sizes from 5.0” to 9 5/8” casings. For special services in smaller casing sizes, the in-line spinner incorporated in the Pressure/Temperature/Flow tool serves as the primary flow measurement device. Continuous Spinner
The Continuous Spinner also provides flowrate measurements in both tubing and casing. It is designed with a fixed impeller to provide measurements where the flowrates in tubing as well as casing are required. This tool is also combinable with the Telemetry GR/CCL tool, Gradiomanometer tool and the Pressure/Temperature/Flow tool to provide tandem wellbore fluid data along with a formation GR measurement, correlated to depth. Continuos Spinner Specifications:
GEOPLEX provides Continuous Spinner services in a number of sizes to provide flow measurements in a range of tubing sizes. X-Y Caliper
To monitor casing diameter, Geoplex-Wireline provides dual Caliper Measurement service using a high-resolution caliper tool. The dual caliper arms mechanisms are set at 90 degrees to each other thereby providing an X-Y caliper measurements that can help identify tubular ovality. The caliper arms are spring loaded and follow the tubing ID while running in hole. It opens fully on leaving the tubing to enter the casing. X-Y Caliper Specification:
The Tubing Caliper tool is combinable with other telemetry tools in the fleet. Cement Bond Logging Tool
Geoplex-Wireline Cement Bond Log (CBL) tool come in 1 11/16” and 3 1/8” nominal diameter. Either tool evaluates the cement quality and integrity around the casing. The 1 11/16” tool is particularly useful in slim hole and in drill pipes. It is used to locate formation collapse around drill pipes where it accurately measures the sound attenuation of the collapse around drill pipes. With the spacing from the sonic transmitter to the dual receivers, the CBL tool is able to provide the Cement Bond Log (CBL) from the 3' measurement and a Variable Density Log (VDL) from the 5' measurement. Specifications for this tool are as follows:
The CBL tool is combined with the Telemetry GR/CCL tool to provide correlated measurements. Memory Pressure Gauge
Memory Pressure Gauge is available for services where real time data is either not required or not of any advantage. The Geoplex-Wireline Memory Pressure Gauge uses a quartz resonate sensor. This all-quartz sensor retains the repeatable performance inherent in single-crystal quartz. The transducer also includes a quartz resonator temperature sensor, which provides digital thermal compensation over the calibrated range. The tool has the following specifications:
The Pressure slim outer diameter of the tool allows it to be used in most completions with tight nipples. The tool is also easily used in most gauge carriers for services in DST/TCP operations. This tool has proved very useful for high resolution and accuracy services generally required in Transient data acquisition, interference tests and other high profile services.
